How do antinuclear antibodies cause problems in lupus?
Antinuclear antibodies are seen in many different autoimmune diseases (including lupus). But how do you make antibodies against something (a nuclues) that is not “visible” to the immune system? And once you’ve made the antibodies, how do they cause problems?
* SS-A Antibody which probably Indicates: I do not have the Lupus(SLE) & Sjogren's Syndrome.
* Antinuclear Antibodies caused problems in Lupus Targetting normal proteins w/in cells ,causing cell destruction & damaging healthy body tissues, giving pain , inflammation & damage to the organs. This affects the skin, kidney, joints & other parts of the body.... followed by Remission*.
