The bases are handmade from felt and the moulds are made from crochet and embroidery thread. The glass dish is actually a tapas dish from Habitat but I do use petri dishes too.
If any one knows of any good UK suppliers of lab glassware, let me know. The Chinese imports I've bought so far are very flawed and unreliable.
